Wheel studs are threaded fasteners designed to mount wheels securely to the vehicle hub. They are press-fit or threaded into the hub assembly, passing through the brake drum or rotor, and paired with lug nuts to lock the wheel in place. As a critical safety component, they must withstand high clamping loads and dynamic shear stresses.
